A small house, made slowly.
NIVRA began with a simple idea — that a place is more than what you see. It's how it smells when the lights are low.
The beginning
We started in a one-room studio with two pots of wax and a notebook full of memories — the smell of wet earth after monsoon, the warmth of an old coffee house at dusk, the hush of a reading room at four in the afternoon.
What we believe
Scent is a quiet way to mark time. A candle isn't a thing you buy; it's a few hours of a particular kind of evening. We make ours one batch at a time, by hand, in India.
Where we are
Still a small house. Still pouring every candle ourselves. Still believing that slow is the only way.
